The Wood River Arts Alliance was created in 1990 to promote the support, communication, and stimulation of all art forms in the Wood River Valley. The Arts Alliance works to broaden both the experience and the presentation of arts in the Valley. This non-profit organization directs its efforts toward enhancing the education, appreciation, and understanding of the arts by residents and visitors of all ages, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the arts remain a viable, integrated part of our community life. The Alliance networks within local arts organizations and shares resources within its membership. It sponsors meetings throughout the year; brings in guest speakers; and acts as a resource clearing house and information gathering forum. The Arts Alliance also serves as a liaison to local chambers of commerce, other state arts organizations, and national art news.
